Live Forecasts
You access to Live Forecasts by selecting the related entry in the main menu.
You can then search for a specific asset and choose among the available Time Horizon (depending on your subscription).
The free-form Asset search allows to look for a specific asset by typing its name, while the Asset list function allows to order all assets by name or ranking within a given market (Forex, Indices, Cryptos).
Once you have found and selected the Asset, the latest Live Forecast will be retrieved and displayed.
This is the most current forecast generated by the Forans Model for the Asset you have selected. The date and time of this forecast is always shown on the top of the screen. Please note that this will be a current and valid forecast only if the related market is open. If you call-up this screen on a week-end, you might see the latest forecast generated on the late friday night for that market (so also depending on the time zone).
You can get an updated forecast by pressing the refresh button at any time.
The forecast itself is materialized by the Forans chart showing the asset price predited direction with the related targets. Asset, Time Horizon and time of the forecast are all integrated in the chart.
The price target are repeated also above the chart, in the chronological order they are predicted to be reached.
If you have selected the related options (in the tab Settings), some classical technical indicators are added below the Forans forecast: MAs, band and oscillator.
Whenever you decide to keep this Asset under monitoring, you can add it in the Favorites by clicking the related button (Add to Sticky Favorites).
It represents the current dynamic state of the market, it can indicate in the most timely manner any start or change of trend or price target.
Choose the Time Horizon that fits to your trading 'rhythm', that is the average time you want hold a position.
It makes no sense, for example, to use only a FAST Time Horizon to trade a long-term moves (10 to 15 days), but this can help to optimize the entry price.

When using Forans live forecast, a series of different techniques can be defined to manage two main aspects:
- The price target of any trend is more precise just at its start, while touching the resistance or support levels. Initial targets must hence be remembered once a Long or Short position has been taken.
Two time horizon at the same time better for live.
A shorter-term correction is possible before the predicted trend does eventually start. Entry orders should therefore be managed, delayed in some cases, until the correction is over.
